It is so exciting to see beavers slowly returning to our water ways after being hunted to extinction in the 16^th century. These large herbivore mammals are crucial for creating thriving wetland habitats and improving water quality via filtration, increasing wildlife diversity and potential reducing flood risks. Beavers have returned to Wiltshire quietly, with a known population at Semington Brook.
