WILD SPRING WATERS - Langford Lakes exhibition
Through my connections with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust through my Wild Palette project, we were offered a space to exhibit at their amazing Langford Lakes site, just outside Salisbury.
As the Spring equinox (or Ostara) is March 20th, we wanted to bring a fresh spring take on our local ponds, lakes and rivers - especially as the site is home to four main lakes featuring state of the art bird hides where you can spot over 150 species of birds.
The exhibition will run a little differently, as there will be no evening opening night, however we wanted a chance to celebrate and gather friends, family and supporters at one time to "open" the show as such!
So if you intend to visit Wild Spring Waters, we encourage you to come to our "meet and greet" where you are guaranteed to catch us both there and have a lovely buzz of activities (we are hoping to have a little drawing or craft activity running).
Details: Saturday 21st March, 1-3pm Brockbank Centre, Langford Lakes
I also plan to be there the following dates between roughly 11am and 3pm: Friday 20th March, Weds 25th, Thurs 26th, Fri 27th, Sat 28th and Sun 29th (the final day), but be aware the centre is shut on Mondays and Tuesdays.
There is a lovely cafe onsite right next to the exhibition for food and beverages and plenty of wildlife routes to explore round the lakes, so you can make a full day of it!
Prints of new pieces and any unsold originals will be going up for sale as my Spring Launch on April 3rd.
